How to read the CTP signal board: WAITING vs confirmed

by Asghar - founder · 7 Oct 2026, 15:47

New to the signal board? The most common question is why a coin shows WAITING instead of an entry. Here is how a setup moves from signal to confirmed, and what the numbers mean.

A CTP signal starts when a 4-hour candle dips to the 20 EMA while the trend is intact. It stays WAITING until, within three bars, a 4-hour candle closes above the previous candle's high and the EMA20. The board shows the level that close has to clear. Once confirmed you get the stop (lowest low since the signal minus 0.5 ATR) and targets at 1.5R, 3R and 5R. If no confirmation comes in three bars, the setup is dropped. That is the filter doing its job. Questions about a specific setup on the board? Post them here.
